Hi Suzanne:
I checked my web page list of early settlers and original land owners and
didn't find anything. I believe the first city directory was in 1858.

I am searching for information on John Musgrave. I think he was born about
1800 in KY. I know he was in Indpls in 1827 when daughter Sarah Ann was
born. He married Jane. It appears that he was employed by the old cemetery
(before Crown Hill) as a grave digger. He died of small pox in 1848. Their
children are:
David F.
Sarah Ann b 1827 ma Zadock Dougherty
Walton b 1828 ma Olive Smith 1856
Moses b 1833 ma Sarah
Philip b 1836
John Tyler b 1839 .
Mary Jane b 1842 ma Issac Marchant, Jr. 1859
Oramel Lucious b 1844 ma Anne Rippetoe 1871
Does anyone know anything about this family?
Thanks,
Suzanne
