Brenda,
There is a growing project for Kentucky death certificates at
Kyvitals.com
They are adding not only names but also actual images of death certificates.
I started following this project a couple of months ago and at that time there
were only three names for the surname I was searching.
The last time I checked there were about a hundred so you can see this is a
pretty quick growing project.
I did a quick check for your John Saunders in Shelby County and did not find
him at this time. You might want to check this project from time to time.
I've been able to knock down quite a few brick walls with this.

Hello everyone,
I've just joined your list & would be grateful for some help in finding my aunt's marriage.
My aunt was Maude LAWRENCE and she married John A. SAUNDERS between 1921 - 1930. I have them on the 1930 census for Wayne Township living on West National Road. John was a mechanic born in Kentucky & Maude was born in England - in Liverpool. She emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1921.
I'm sorry that I can't give a more accurate date for the marriage but I'm presuming it was in Indiana - fingers crossed!!
John died in 1935 in Shelby County, Kentucky & I would like to obtain both marriage & death certificates if possible.
If anyone can help in any way I would be so grateful.
Best wishes,
Brenda Jones in the UK
