I am looking for information on Walter S. Russell.
Walter Steart Russell b. Feb 1854 b OH
I have a news paper photo of him and his wife on there 50th wedding
anniversary in Indianapolis.
We believe it is in the year of 1926, possibly 27. Would love to know the
date of the
article from the paper. This would answer one question as to a date of
their wedding.
The next question I have is some where between 1926 or 27 and 1930 Mr.
Walter S. Russell
passed away. This we know, due to the 1930 concuss. Mrs. Sarah Russell
was living with her
daughter in Calif.
As I stated the date of his death is unknown, as also the location of his
burial. Hopefully I can locate
him for my grandfather, as to this was his grandfather.
Thank You
Salli

Hello,
I am new to this list, and I am researching my husband's side of the
family in Marion Co. IN.
I recently received the Old Age Application from SS. of his grandfather
Frank Sears. His full name was Francis (Frank) Marion Sears, it shows
that he was born in Indianapolis c. 1880, and his parents were George
Sears and Alice McPherson. Some info taht I have has Frank born in 1879.
Does anyone have any information on George or Alice? I do not know when
they were born or married. Frank moved to McCurtain Co., OK. in or about
1910. In the 1930 census states the his father was born in TN. and mother
IN. as well as Frank.
In 1913 he was married to a Nora Cravens Durant and he applied for
guardianship to her son from her marriage to Durant. Frank and Nora had a
son Cecil and after Nora's death in late 1918 early 1919 he remarried in
1920 to a Lillian Young Guest and they had several more children. I have
been searching for 10 years and just aquired the information as to the
town where he was born and his parents names.
Hope someone can help me add to this information.
Thank You

I have a Nancy Anderson married in 1888 in Schuyler co.,Illinois. to Amos
Warren, there she had five children. I found in searching for birth records
for the children that she was born in Marion Co.,Indiana in Oct 1868. Her
last name was Anderson. How she got to Illinois I do not know or if she had
any family there. Apparently Amos Warren died about 1903 in Schulyler
co.,Illinois. Nancy then took her children to Marion Co.,Missouri, where she
had a sister or some relation.
On December 14 1904 she took the children to the Protestant orphanage in St.
Louis and left them there. I have been able to find three of the boys. On 31
December 1904 in Marion Co.,Missouri. she married Thomas K. Wilson. I have
never been able to find them again in Missouri. This morning I was sent a
1920 census for Marion Co.,Indiana, Indianapolis, with them living there. So
Nancy went back to where she was born.
I am hoping that someone can help in in finding when she died, or cemetery
records for Thomas and Nancy? Does anyone have any knowledge of a Nancy
Anderson born Oct. 1868 in Marion Co.,Indiana?
I do thank you for any information that anyone can provide to me.
