Thanks for the response. I knew that some of the Keeler's moved on to Iowa
by 1850, but I am rather surprised that some didn't remain. DeLoris

I am hoping for some help. I have an address of Philip John Deuser in 1918
of 842 N. Capitol Avenue. I am looking for this family in the 1920 Census.
Unfortunately, Deuser is often mispelled.
Does anyone know which District or Township, the address of 842 N. Capitol
Avenue would be in the 1920 census?
Thanks for any help

I am seeking information on possible probate records for Thomas Keeler in Marion County, Indiana. I would also like to determine if there was more than one Thomas Keeler living in Marion County in the 1830/1840 era.
According to probate records for Samuel Ray, Thomas Keeler died in 1843 while administrator for the Samuel Ray estate.
Other records show that a Thomas Keeler owned land in Washington Township, Marion County, in 1829. Thomas J Keeler was issued a land patent in 1829 in another section. Thomas J Keeler married Nancy Sharpe in Marion County in 1831.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to locate Kelly Thomas, grandchild of Maxey Wall Jr. of Indianapolis, IN.
Kelly wrote a story about Maxey on <yourtruehero.org> concerning Maxey's service
as a jet fighter pilot in WWII. Maxey could have died in Dec of 1967. I have
been researching this Wall family back to TN to our common Comer connection.
If you write to the Indianapolis -Marion Co. Library for a copy of the obit,
it is only $1.00 and takes just a couple of weeks to receive it.
Jan in FL.
I do not live in Indiana. However, if you call up Rootsweb.com and go to the
obituary section there is a sight that people volunteer to do obituaries for
an area. contact that person doing the paper for Indianapolis.

Father of Shirl Dwight, Dolores and Gwendola FOUCH. Took the name of

named "Emma". They moved to northern Indiana then Michigan, where they
died months apart. They were known as Perry and Emma SMITH.

John S. Ijams married Adaline Sloniger on January 26, 1881 in Marion County,
Indiana. I found that the John died in 1889 in Marion County, Indiana from
Ancestry.com from the R.L. Polk City Directory. I found an Ada Ijams b. Dec.
1846 in Marion Co., 1900 census living with a Frank Davis b. Feb. 1868 in
Indiana. Frank is the 'Head' of the household and Ada is listed as mother. This
indicates that John S. Ijams was probably her second husband. If anyone is close
to the court house and can look at the death certificate for John S. Ijams
for his parents, I would every so grateful.
Variations of the spelling of the name is Imes, Iiams, Iams and Ijames.

My interest resides with Nancy Jane SHOEMAKE born about 1865 in Greensburg,
Decatur Co. IN. daughter of Blackley Shoemake and Mary E. Myers.
September 9, 1881, she married John L. HEAVERN in Decatur Co. IN. They had 5
children. John died May 20, 1900.
The 1900 Decatur Co. IN Sand Creek Twp Census shows her as head of household
with 5 children
May 9, 1901, she married Hiram J. BYRUM born in Hamilton Co. OH. He was 67
and she 36. When did he die or what happened to him?
The 1930 Marion Co. Center Twp Census finds her living with her daughter
Blanche and her husband with the last name of BENNETT. She was 64 years old at
this time. When did she marry him? When did he die?
I would like her place of burial or any information pertinent to this woman.
She was my great grandmother.
Thanks to everyone. Loretta

I am searching for any information on the Northwest Milk company run by
Larkin Collins in Ft. Wayne, IN in the 1930's and 40's.
Larkin Collins may have had a first name other than Larkin. He was 48 in
1930. His wife and maybe not the first, was Rosa Adkins from TN
He married Rosa about 1911. Maybe a city directory for Indianapolis or Ft.
Wayne, Marion County would have more information. Any clue no matter how
unlikely will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Subject: [MARION COUNTY, IN] Lookup in "Cemetery Readings of Decatur
Township" - Enoch Mills, b. 19 Dec 1793, d. 5 Dec 1850
Hi,
I was wondering if anybody could do a lookup for the following person in
"Cemetery Readings of Decatur Township" published in 1997.
The person I am looking for is:
Enoch Mills b. 19 Dec 1793, died 5 Dec 1850
I believe him to be in Easton Friends Cemetery, aka Old Quaker.
Or are there any Mills in this cemetery, if he isn't there.
Thanks for any hints, tips, or information.
