I have tried looking for your Carey Hervey and can only find one living in
AR, who was born abt. 1883. I did find a Guilford Hervey applying for a Civil
War Pension, but he is living in Kansas. Do you have any additional
information on your Hervey family and I will try again to find something for you. Could
they have possibly used different given names?

I have a copy of an ancestor's burial info stating that Vehling was the
undertaker. I am guessing that since the person died in Indianapolis, Indiana, in
1908, that Vehling was located in that city. Does anyone know whether the
funeral home was taken over by someone else.
Thanks for any info that anyone may provide
