Hi Lisa,
I was just down in Indy Sunday and Monday and dropped by the Pleasant Grove
Cemetery in Carmel. There was a big tombstone with the name Parsley on it.
I snapped a picture and when I get it developed I will give you the
information. I don't know if it connects with yours but remembered you were
looking for the name along with Silvey. There were a LOT of Silveys in the
Fall Creek Cemetery on Millersville Rd. in Indy. Might be a few of yours
there.

Bernice, could not find any BAYLES or BALES in AIS index in IN.

Hi Lyndy,

Hi Linda,
Forgive me if I am taking advantage of your generous offer. But you have been able to help me so much. It has been wonderful. I would appreciate a lookup for MCCOLLISTER/MCCALLISTER/MCALISTER/MCULISTER and other variations in Wells and Jay Co.

Have a great day,
Frank McCollister

Hi,
I am looking for information on my great grandparents, most especially my
great grandfather James Monroe Guy. I have no idea when he was born or when
he died, but I do know that his wife Victoria Marguerite Reed ( she is also
referred to as Marguerite and Margaret) died in Indianapolis in 1983. In his
obituary their son Elmer Monroe is referred to as being a life-long
Indianapolis resident, so I cannot help but think that James and his wife
lived there for a significant period of time. So far I haven't been able to
find any information on James Guy. Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
Andrea
Hello,
Is anyone researching the PARSLEY surname? I am looking for Asberry Parsley who came to Indiana from Virginia. He married Martha Silvey. They had three children- Annie, George Monroe, and James. He later married Annie Kelly and had one child- Minnie. Any info on the parents, siblings, children of this Parsley will be greatly appreciated.! Thanks! Lisa H.
Hi all
I am looking for the death date of a man and wife:
Almer Daniel SMITH born November 17, 1878 in NY
Jessie Martin Ackley SMITH born abt 1881 in KY
Both died in Indianapolis and were alive on April 07, 1932 and living at 4029 W. Washington St.
If some kind soul has access to the death index during this time I would be VERY grateful for either or both of these death dates.
Thanks!
Lyndy
Hello,
I am new to list, but I have noticed people asking for death dates. If there is an index for early death records in Indianapolis (1870's), I would be very grateful for a lookup on Martha and Asberry Parsley. I hope I am correct in thinking that Indianapolis kept death records from 1872 on. Can anyone tell me how to get copies? Thanks!! Lisa H.
Hi Linda,
Yes these are my family. They came into the Marion Co. area about the edge
of your time frame so I wasn't sure if there would be any records of them
there or not. Thanks for taking the time to look around the 'area'.
Thanks so much for all of your help. I really appreciate it.
Have a great weekend,
Frank

Hi Linda,
Since we are on a role here, how about the surname DuChemin. Variations inlcude Duchman, Duckman, Dushman.
Thanks again for all of your time and help.
Frank
Would someone who has CD of Indiana deaths check for listed for members of Dumser family? They were living in Indianapolis by 1880, but don't have much info. Thanks
Jeanine
Patrick,
I did not find any REHS but knowing that our surnames are not always spelled
by doctors and clerks the way we want them to be I searched for the given
name Henrietta. I found one possibility. Henrietta RIESSE age 65 died Mar
9, 1889 in Marion County record in book H-3 page 174.
The index does not list maiden name or spouse.
I hope this is of some help to you.
Bev
Hi Linda,
You and Fred were so helpful with my DUCHEMIN line that I wanted to thank you again. You both provided more information than I had hoped for.
If you have another free moment I would appreciat anything that you might have on the MARSISCHKY line.
Thanks again for all of your help.
Have a great weekend.
Frank McCollister
Lisa - I don't have any info on your photographers, but I do have info on
Silveys. Who is in your line? Cathy
