Does anyone know if there are any families still in the area related
to these families? They attended the Ebenezer Lutheran Church in
Indianapolis in the 1800's.
Would like to correspond with them.

Hi Glee:
I'm so happy that you wrote. I had part of the
material printed out before I left home but I didn't
get it all done to mail to you. I can access my mail
on the internet but I don't have the address book with
it. I'll be back home in first or second week of Dec
and I'll be able to finish printing them out. The web

Hello list -
I am writing to ask if anyone has access to the Indianapolis newspaper
files and would make a copy of the obituary of Richard Monroe Fairbanks Jr.,
who died on Aug. 11, 2000 in Florida. He came from a well known Indianapolis
family, so I assume the local papers recorded his death.
Thanks for sharing.

Good Morning:
I have transcribed the information from the Greenlawn
and Rhoads cemeteries' memorials located at Crown Hill
Cemetery. On the north side of Crown Hill on the
north side of 38th Street, there is a sign that
says "Pioneer Cemetery." As you walk up the hill
there are two memorials; the one on the right is for
Greenlawn, the one on the left is for Rhoads. The
graves were moved to this location. This information
is now on the web site.

Requesting a lookup for 1910 census. John M. McCullough, most likely in Marion Co. with birth date of 12/1866. Lora and Linda have been kind in helping in the past and I thank you so much. Also, wanted to know where you purchased the CD for Indiana 1910 census index. Thanks again, Jeanine
DOES ANYONE HAVE THESE TWO DIRECTORIES AND CAN LOOK
UP JACOB SMITH. CAN'T MAKE OUT THE DATE ON HIM, AND WOULD APPRECIATE IF
SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OUT.
THANK YOU KINDLY,

List:
Does anyone have easy access to an Indianapolis City directory for 1910? If so, I'm looking for an address for Goldie ARNOLD, age 18, probably living alone. She may have been living on English Avenue.
A generous researcher on this list furnished me with census index information stating that Goldie was in Ward 11 for the 1910 Census. However, neither of us was able to find Goldie in the actual census pages for that Ward. I'm hoping a directory listing might exist that would point me toward her correct address.
Thanks in advance.

Dear listers,
I had the following information from a Baltimore city list. They have a site
for submitting photos! Would there be a similar site also for Indianapolis or
Marion Co or other Indiana Counties?
Sincerely

Rose,
Conseco Field House is in downtown Indianapolis. It is only a few years old
and would not be on any old maps. Lilly Corporate Center is near downtown.
It is located south and east of Conseco Field House. I don't know the ED
numbers for Sheffield and Tremont. They are on the near west side of
Indianapolis. The ED number would depend on the address number. These
streets run thru more than one ward.
I was wondering about the Chestnut you inquired about and how you determined
it's location. The Chestnut Street on current maps may not be the one you
are looking for. I live in an area of Indianapolis that was settled by many
German families. The street I live on is Talbott, which appears in 1910 and
prior census as Chestnut Street. I have been researching the Fischer and
Mappes families in this area in the 1890-1920 time period. What time period
are you researching? I know a lot of the family names from that time period
in this area. I hope I can be of some help.
Bev
Hello listers,
could someone please tell me the Census ED's for following streets or has
some suggestions.

Nearby are Lilly Corporate Center, Conseco Field House and N illinois Street.
I guess that is in the north West of Indianapolis.

Hi Shirley:
You didn't mention what timeframe. I checked the 1900
census and there were no Hamkes. If it's earlier than
that then I can check my resources when I get home on
December 2nd.

Good Morning:
Perry and Wayne Townships have now been uploaded. This completes the series
of Original Land Owners for Marion County.
I will be leaving town Saturday and will be in Marion County for two weeks.
I will be checking my mail on a regular basis and will try to add data as
time permits. December 3rd we'll be back on schedule on a daily basis.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families.
Nan
Hi Maggie:
This should work as a regular link and take you right into the page. If
not, copy the link and place it in your browser.
Nan
Someone has done a lot of research on the state and federal censuses for
Indiana and have published this information on a web page at the following
URL which is very informative:
http://www.netusa1.net/~beheler/INrsrch.html#census
In all my visits to the Indiana State Library, Genealogy Division, I have
not seen anything on an 1855 Indiana State Census.
