I have several surnames which I am researching in Marion co. starting in 1832>
MOORE//GRUBBS//MERRYMAN//BRYAN//WALLACE//SMITH//COX-
MOXLEY//TUCKER//RANSDELL//MANN//FILSON//FULWIDER...etc, for a few.
My main thrust is on the Daniel MOORE family. This family moved into Marion
co. around the Franklintownship area, 1832-1835. They were members of "The
Big Run Baptist Church" in Franklin(this is now the Franklin Historical
Society).
There are many stories of my ancestors driving into Indianapolis City Market
with 'horse and buggy' to deliver produce and meats.
Sincerely
eileen(Moore)coppola
