Message Board Post:
Does anyone know if there is any plan to put the cemetery records for
LaGrange on an online database such as Find a Grave? They only have a few
thousand records and it seems like there should be many more.
I am trying to find records for my Enoch Buck family who came to LaGrange
from Ohio in about 1847 or 1848. Enoch was born in abt 1801 in PA. He is on
the 1850 and 1860 census and then disappears. He was last in Van Buren. His
wife Betsey was next found in 1865 in Douglas Cty KS listing herself as
single. She is buried in KS.
Enoch Buck's son, David Daniel born abt 1826 disappears after 1870 census.
He was last found in LaGrange.
I am trying to determine if they both died or deserted their respective
families.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Marci
