I am connecting the Randol's and Randall's in very early [1830'es] LaGrange
Co., Indiana via records that are available online.
Right now - it is way too early to have conclusions, but hopefully I will and at that
time I will post the FTM on
Ancestry.com.
I have completed my direct line and then became fascinated with trying to identify
the "OTHER" descendants of David & Sarah "Sally" Gibson Randol
[David was a Rev War Vet] Most of the earliest Randol's in Milford Twp were connected
to this David. He and sons: Samuel, David[Jr.], Henry & Enos along with his married
dau=Anna Randall Case, went to LaGrange together.
My David and his line went to Porter Co., Ind. by 1850 and on to Iowa. Most of the
others stayed in Indiana.
David[Jr.]'s brothers, Henry & Enos died before 1850. It appears from the
tallies on the 1830 & 1840 US Federal census records that Samuel, Henry and Enos all
had children that may not yet be connected with this Randol line - especially daughters.
My David[Jr.]had a family Bible that identified all of his children and because he
and most of his children left the area - my line was much more straightforward.
I am establishing this thread in order to help identify which of the early
Randol's/Randall's who stayed in Indiana may connect.
So this is the "stake in the ground" STEP #1
Later,
Sally in Alabama
