You might want to check with the Lagrange vital records office. When I was
in Indiana in June and July, I didscovered that Noble county has what they
call genealogical sheets for $1 per person. If you send them the info that
you have, and what you suspect, they will research and send you a certified
information sheet with the additional info and it only runs $1 per person
and no additional charge for postage. By the time that somebody does the
research, makes copies and mails it to you, they have spent that much as
well. I have used them a couple times since then and when I send them
money, they even send change back if they find nothing. I was really
impressed. Might want to check if LaGrange has the same thing. If they do,
let me know as I have some that I can send there as well.
