Margaret, Could you tell me if you have mention of a Robert Harper in your
information? My Robert Harper shows in the 1850 LaGrange, Johnston Twp.
Census with his family and then eternally disappears. Thank you, Catherine

Subject: [INLAGRAN] 44th Indiana Civil War photos request
Hello,
I am going to send my book on the 44th Indiana Regiment off for review and
would like to include any additional civil war era soldier photos that
might
be
hiding in attics or chests. Although I already have over 100, there were
probably ten times that many taken. (I have 21 from Company H, recruited
in LaGrange Co.; LaGrange was very patriotic!)
Please take some time to go through your attics over Thanksgiving and if
you
find one, make a copy for me. Those old soldiers deserve to be honored!
You may contact me at _CW44thIndiana(a)aol.com_ (mailto:CW44thIndiana@aol.com)

or write to me at:
