Thank you again for responding Kathy. I've seen probably most of your threads
regarding Olmstead, on these message boards, and was hoping that you've gotten further
in your research, since the years have passed away. Like I said, I always tried to respond
to you someway in the past, but didn't know if you were still doing the genealogy or
not, for this Lewis line.
Thanks for letting me know that you updated your gedcom, I'll take a look at it.
Between you and Sarah, I've at least learned a great deal more about my family then
ever before and have been able to speak with new members of my family that I never knew
existed, including you.
That's a first I've heard of the Olmstead/Connecticut idea being brought into the
picture. Interesting! I have a huge feeling Olmstead's name was used or written
differently periodically throughout his life, as in most of the documents we all come
across in that period of time. Too bad for us! It seems like for Olmstead, it is more
guess work, then actually documented proof. If only one piece of paper could lead us
somewhere............ there would be several family members that are following this line
to suddenly become thrilled and relieved to finally know!
Please keep in touch, my distant relative, it's good to chat with you. In case you
haven't seen my page, it is:
http://www.genealogy.com/genealogy/users/l/e/w/Jo-Lewis-1/index.html
If needed, you can always contact me from the email off that site. Shamefully, I do have
to update the actual gedcom, it's been awhile, but will probably be later on, when I
have more time and can catch-up.
Take care and I wish you the best in your life and this research.
Jo Ann
