I do not see where there is a birth record for William Martin Edwards in
Kosciusko County. You can search the WPA early birth records here:
One thing to
remember is that the state of Indiana did not require any birth or death
records before 1920. Any records before then were only if the family
reported them.

Hello, I am a descendant of a William Martin Edwards, b. 12 Jul 1889, whose WWI draft
registration card indicates his place of birth as "Palestine, Indiana". It is
believed that William migrated west, to Colorado and Utah at a young age as a farm
laborer. It is also believed that he may have had a sister Mary (m. Ray Stetcher), b.
Chicago and a brother John.
How might I go about locating any birth records on William that may tell us something
about his parents?
Any further insight is most appreciated,
