Subject: DNR needs input from Kosciusko County
Greetings Kosciusko County friends!
The DNR Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology (the State Historic Preservation
Office) is gathering public input in order to revise Indiana’s Cultural Resources
Management Plan for 2012-2018. We have an on-line survey that we have been promoting
throughout the state. So far we have received more than 1,900 responses from all across
Indiana.
Unfortunately, as of September 12, Kosciusko is one of the least represented counties in
the state – only 5 people have participated in the survey. We are striving to insure that
every county in Indiana is adequately represented. The survey will close on September 30,
2011.
We hope you will help us by taking about 10-15 minutes to complete our survey AND forward
this message to others in your organizations and around your community and encourage them
to participate. We want to hear from anyone who cares about Indiana’s heritage. Please
follow this link to access the survey on DNR-DHPA’s website:
http://www.in.gov/dnr/historic/6436.htm.
Thank you for helping us insure that Kosciusko County is well represented within our
statewide survey data!
