In time for Memorial Day 1998 an addition has been made to the
Kosciusko Co
USGenWEb site. With the help of Marge Priser, a photograph and newspaper
accounts of the 1890 Reunion of the 74th Ind Infantry Regiment from the
Civil War have been posted.
You can view these from a link on either the Civil War page of the
Kosciusko Co USGenWeb site or from the Photo Album. What is included is a
wonderful photograph of the all of the Veterans of the 74th who were at the
1890 Reunion in Warsaw, Indiana. Additionally, reproduced are the
newspaper accounts from the "Warsaw Daily News" from Aug 30, Sep 1 and 2,
1890. The August 30th account notes the agenda of the Reunion. The
September 1st article discuss the events of the first day of the Reunion.
The Setember 2nd article lists the Veterans present and the city, state
they currently live in, along with reports of the events of the Reunion.
Very interesting reading.

THANKS! My ancestors were in the 13th and 47th but I find the Civil War as
it
related to Indiana so very interesting! Wish I'd have known we were even
"in it" as I was growing up in Wabash County.
