Excerpts from the dairy of Frederick Hartline, Franklin Twp, Tuscarawas,
Ohio, my great grandfather. These entries are related to trips to
Indiana only.

"I hired a livery rig to take Me and Ma'am and Nora Limbach and her 3
children out to John Stanbarger's about 2 miles west of North Webster.
We arrived at John Stanbarger's at noon. After dinner John hitched the
buggy and Him and me went out to old George Feucht's this afternoon and
after we came back from Feucht's we eat supper and we went to North
Webster this evening. We stayed at John Stanbarger's tonight."
George Feucht's daughter, Mary Elizabeth Feucht, married Joseph
Hartline Jr and never left Franklin Twp, Tuscarawas, Ohio.
Their farm home was located 3 farm homes to the north of my parent's
home on Route 21-250 north of Strasburg, Ohio. She died 30 Dec 1945.
In 1998 this farm is operated by Howard Lewis, a great great grandson of
George Feucht. George died 29 Mar 1913 and I have a copy of his
newspaper obituary. Mrs George Feucht, Christine Kline, died 24 Aug
1910 but I cannot find any newspaper entry.

"John Stanbarger took Me and Ma'am to Isiah Kuhn's visiting this
forenoon and we visited Old Auntie Susan Mock Kuhn and came back to
Isiah's for dinner. Me and Ma'am then walked over to Uncle Dave Mock's
this afternoon and stayed there tonight."
Isiah Kuhn born 3 May 1850 is the 12th of 12 children of
John Kuhn and Susannah Mock Kuhn. Susannah Mock is one of Mrs Jacob
Fashbaugh's (Catherine Mock) sisters.

"Uncle David Mock took Me and Ma'am to Eli Hamman's this forenoon
about 4 miles southwest of Webster. We visited in that neighborhood
at John Kuhn's and stayed at Eli Hamman's all night. Uncle Dave Mock
went home."
Uncle David Mock, born 18 Feb 1824, is their brother..
