Obituaries
Larry A. Scheuer
Larry A. Scheuer, 53, of 722 E. Center St. Warsaw died at
4:11p.m. Dec. 25, 1998 from injuries suffered in an auto
accident.
He was born Aug. 1, 1945, in Delong, to Bernard J. and Letha
Mahler Scheuer. In 1964 he married Marsha Wentz, who he
divorced; in 1968 he married Jane Buster, who preceded him in
death; and on Nov. 13, 1976 he married Cynthia Cochran, who
survives.
A 1963 graduate of Plymouth High School, he worked at R. R.
Donnelley for 36 years, was co-owner of A-1 Lock and Key and
owner of Scheuer Publications. He was a 39 year resident of
Indiana and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea. He attended
Warsaw Wesleyan Church and was a member of Associated Locksmiths
of America, Northern Indiana Locksmiths Association and National
Locksmiths Association. He received the 1998 Genealogist of the
Year Award of Kosciusko County.
Other survivors include a son, John Scheuer, Warsaw; two
daughters, Mrs. Cory (Trish) Beach, Albuquerque, N.M., and Angela
Scheuer, at home, two brothers, James Scheuer, Livonia, Michigan
and Derrell Scheuer, Plymouth; two sisters, Mary Eberts,
Tekoncha, Mich.., and Connie Schnepp, Rochester; and five
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a
son.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Warsaw Wesleyan
Church with Pastor Rick Schockley officiating. There also will
be a Legion service. Burial will be in Leiters Ford Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Titus
Funeral Home, Warsaw.
