Subject: [INKOSCIU-L] Research via Newspapers
We all know there are lots of people researching their ancestors that
don't
use
computers. But, these same folks are reading genealogy columns in
their
local
newspapers. So how does one find a genealogy column in the locality
you're
researching that will post queries? And, may one submit queries by email?
The Mobile (Alabama, USA) Genealogical Society's web site has a page called
THE
NEWS STAND that provides this information? They list many newspapers,
by
State,
and include information on how to contact the column's writer. A
great way
to
find some of your kin!
The Cyber Lobby for the MGS web site can be found at...

Just scroll down to, and click on, THE NEWS STAND.
