My family of Lichtenwalters orignally came from the
Lichtenwalner line in
Pennsylvania so your name could certainly be a variation from
that family
who were early Palantine emigrants. I was in PN last summer and
collected quite a bit of info there. You might include the
variations of
Lichtenwalter, Lichtenwalner and Lichtenwallner in your search
queries.
Currently, all of my genealogical papers are buried in the midst
of a
home remodeling job, but hopefully in the next week it will
start to
clear and I will check my papers of any mention of your aunt's
surname.
