To Phillip Ritter and Sasha Stanley and All.
In regard to naturalizations, I know that the law as Philip Ritter
related it is pretty much the way it is today, I just was not sure if
the law was the same in 1850.
In regard to your Abraham Yeager. Yes, he is one of the children I spoke
of.
Jacob Yeager b 1760-1770 Pa. married Margarette ????
his son Mathias Yeager born Mar. 23, 1790 married first Catherine

1821 both these families moved to Haldimand Co. Rain Township (near
Selkirk) Ontario, Canada. Here Catherine died. Mathias then married Mary
Hoover born Nov. 12, 1800 a daughter or descendent of Abraham Hoover.
Mary and Mathias had the following children all born in Canada. Andrew

Andrew Yeager married Clarissa Hull daughter of Esther Mabie and ???
Hull.
Lydia Yeager married Edwin Hull same lineage as above.
Ephriam Yeager married Susan Ryder
Abraham Yeager married Mariah Ritter
Lydia & family, Ephriam & family and Abraham & family all moved to
Kansas after the civil war...about 1870/1880. I am in touch via e-mail
with descendents of Lydia and with descendents of Ephriam. The wife of
John Fetzer is a descendent of Abraham.
To Sasha Stanley,
I think we are dealing with different Jacob Yeagers. Mine is from Pa. or
he was the original immigrant. There was a large migration to Canada,
mostly, I think, from Pa. with the Amish/Mennonites???? I have been
trying to determine the who, why, and what on this but I really don't
know why they went to Canada. For that matter, I don't know why they
left Canada and came back to the U.S.
