What a coincidence. Today I was working on Kos. Co. names at our FHC in
Mesa, AZ and looking at a film of cemetery inscriptions by Lester Binnie.
Lo and behold, there was the Lightcap name:
Catherine A. daughter of John and Lydia died 5/7/1874
age was either 21 y. 4 m. 4 d. or 24 y. 4 m. 4 d.
Apparently the stone was unclear.
Lydia wife of John died 8/27/1877 age 71 y. 3 m. 27 d.
Another stone next to these two apparently was unreadable--perhaps John's.
Stones were in Everett Farm Cemetery one mile east and one mile south of
Silver Lake in Lake Twp. at the intersection of County Roads 1200 S and 200
W. I believe it said this was a very small cemetery about 100 feet square.
Hope this helps, although the dates don't correspond to what you had
mentioned.

Has anyone on this list ever come across the name LIGHTCAP, in Kosciusko
County. My ggrandmother Lydia Elder's maiden name was LIGHTCAP. She was
residing with her family (h. Francis Marion Elder), in Claypool from at
least 1882 to 1898.
