Listowner Note: We continue to be plagued by virus infections carried as
attachments to email. The latest more sophisticated infections are capable of
stealing addresses from your address file and forwarding the virus to your
other correspondents. In other words, if they find my address on your file,
they can fabricate a virus message to others which looks like it came from
inkosciu-l. What to do? First and foremost-open no email with an attachment
unless
you have been advised by the senders that they are sending you an attachment.
THE INKOSCIU list WILL NEVER EVER SEND YOU AN EMAIL WITH AN ATTACHED FILE.
This is true of ALL Rootsweb mailing lists.
Be wary of any messages coming in with attachments. Unless I am expecting
a file, I delete virtually all files with attachments without even opening
the message.
