Remember that VA and PA were very close and it is very possible these
families are related and actually lived close together. Unless you
have specific villages etc, and there was also quite a few PA
families that went to VA. Part of that is now WVA. Not my line but I
sympathize!!! Margaret C fro SE Ohio
Sue,
Thank you for your reseponse. Yes I have tapped out all engines! I
found only one census with Philip Kibler age 30 dated July 27, 1870
in Plain Township. As for my gggf/ggf I found them in Wapello, IA
in June of the same year. I don't know if this Philip is related to
my gggp's Philip & Margaret Kibler although it is possible.
The only other Kibler censuses I have found are the ones with the
three children living in other households - Phebe Kibler with the
Hiner/Hines family, Christopher Kibler with the Woolfords, and
Chauncey Kibler in the other household. Does anyone happen to know
who the parents are for the three children (very close in ages)
living in different households or if they are siblings? I am
curious to know if they could be related to our Kiblers. Although,
I note that some of the Kiblers in this region were from VA, while
my lineage is from PA.
Hopefully someone might know more about Philip, Phebe, Christopher,
or Chauncey.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Lori

Have you done any searching on the gen-web page?
http://www.rootsweb.com/~inkosciu/
In the 1860 census:
Phebe Kibler is living with the Wm. Hines family in Wayne Township.
Christopher C. Kibler is living with the Wm. Woolford family also in Wayne
Township.
Chauncey Kibler is living with the Oscar Holbroke family in Wayne Township.
Living beside the Holbroke family are 2 Woolford families.
There are 1 Kibler family and two other Kiblers in the 1870 census. I do not
see any Kiblers in the 1840 or 1850.
