The subject line says Smith and I do have that name in the area.
Or did this belong to some other message?

Hi, I'm looking for the decendants of Montels. The will of Pierre Montels
was made official in New York in Jan. 1706. He was married to Jeanne de
Bosson. they had two daughters, Marie (1663) and Marguarite (abt. 1657).
Pierre fled to New Amsterdam during the Revocation of the Edit of Nance,
abt. 1697. He was a Protestant (Huguenot). Marie married Noe Cazalet and
they also fled from france to england to New Amsterdam, later New York.
Marguarite married Francois Besart. Does any of your Montels research go
back that far?
