New to this list, I'd been subscribed only in Elkhart county, was
trusting the advice of family members, not a map.
Have ordered Kosciusko county cemetery record films from the local
Family History Center, they'll probably arrive in 3-4 weeks. My Henry
David KEHR relatives are buried in Leesburg which was a surprise to
us....they lived in Oswego. We found them there last week when visiting
Goshen when relatives drove us out to Leesburg, we did find the old
cemetery books with James at the Mill after going to the Methodist
Church and getting advised by the local quilters...then to the new Fire
Station, then next door at the proper city office where they told me how
to find James. He's really a peach !
In checking the Archived messages for this List, there doesn't seem to
be a listing of the surnames in these cemeteries online. Perhaps I
missed it, there were so many hits for Leesburg and Cemetery as
searchwords. I found my KEHR relatives mistakenly listed as KERRs. The
headstones are very clear and easy to read, but somehow it was
mis-entered back when a book was made of all the names and years written
on the headstones.
On order are FHC films #2109, 1035783 and 1320573, Leesburg and other
county Cemeteries. Content of any LDS film can be checked at this page
by selecting Film/Fiche Search :

The film will only be here 5 weeks once it arrives, it you think someone
of interest might be buried in a Leesburg or other county cemetery,
write to me and I'll put you on a list to check. Leesburg just isn't
that large and the film should be alphabetized. Someone please tell me
if this information is accessible on the Net....I'll send the film back
! Don't see it on the Kosciusko county USGenweb Webpage.
