MY experience is that it's better to pay for and get a marriage application (if there
is one) rather than the license. It holds much more information and if you tell the
clerks what information you're looking for, they'll usually send it and charge
only IF it contains what you're after. At least that's my experience in Delaware
County, IN. Try that and see.

Yesterday I received my great grandparent's, Charles Bert Neff and Susie Bell
Stobaugh, marriage license in the mail. It doesn't have the names of their
parents or any additional information available. Would there be a marriage
application some place? I have the same problem with a marriage license in Putnam
County. Is this typical for IN?
Any help will be appreciated.
