I ordered the CDs and received them within 2 weeks! I was expecting a much longer
delay!!! I must say, in the 1st 15 minutes, I located one of those ancestors in hiding of
my friends (she had searched all over for the guy) and found some of mine in locations I
would never have thought to look! The really cool thing is the multiple ways to search
for a person - not just by surname but by any of the fields in the database!
Well worth the $49.95

Hi all,
Just thought you might want to start checking your nearest FHC's or local
gene. libraries for some fabulous new CD's.
They are available through Salt Lake--complete set of 1880 index and
transcription of the actual census. Evidently the entire 55 CD set is
available for something like $49.95. They will have quite a backlog on
orders undoubtedly. A friend tells me you can hunt for someone by name
such as John Clover b. 1850 OH and even though he had moved to another
state by then, it will take you right to him.
