My husband just walked in (native Gibson Countian) and I asked him and he said he had
heard of it before and thought it was located somewhere between Giro and Hazleton in
Gibson Co.

just called my stepdad who grew up at Edwardsport and is an avid fisherman and
e had never heard of it before. He said that area is more of a sand bottom and
ripple denotes a rock bottom area of the river. He did say that if he were
o guess a good rock bottom area of the river is around Wheatland and he knows
n old fisherman who lives in that area whom he is going to call and ask.
