Barbara,
I have the 1981 Northwest Trail Tracers Quarterlies that is put out by the
Northwest Territory Genealogical Society and checked in those for you.
Although they didn't have the pertinent information, they had the following
on pg. 8 ...INDEX OF DECLARATIONS OF INTENT & NATURALIZATION RECORDS, KNOX
COUNTY, INDIANA, 1852 - 1951...97-Page Index lists names of persons filing
for these documents in Knox Co. At that time (1981) the NW Terr. Geneal.
Society had the indexes for sale @ $2.00 each if purchased at the Lewis
Library and $3.00 each if mailed. You might like to contact the Geneal.
Society and/or the Library. (There was a copy of one Declaration as an
example...that of a BASTIN, and it had some pretty good information in it.
Although I saw no place for a ship's listing, it does ask what arrival port,
state and date of arrival.) Hope this helps.
Marsha McWilliams
