List members,
I'm in need of help on where to go for requesting info. I understand that some
counties have Historical Societies and Genealogy Societies. What is the difference? What
does Knox Co. have? How do you join & whom do you contact? I have also heard of the
Lewis Historical Library at Vincennes University, what do they have? In short what
resources does Knox Co. have and what records and info should I ask of whom? I want a
1862 estate file, a 1923 will or estate file, and various newspaper articles to begin
with. Any suggestions?
