Sandra,
I would like to learn of any STEWART or BLAIRE [French BLAIZIE] you
might have in your Indiana census, possibly Pike or Knox County(s), Indiana.
The Blaire surname came out of Missouri, where it had been changed from the
French "Blaizie" to "Blaire." The Stewart ancestry includes the
surname
KELSO and they are thought to have come here by ship directly from Ireland.
This search is for an unrelated family member. They had no historic
birth or death dates to coincide with given names. The given names they
could provide likely fall short of 1860. The only complete info I do have
is for recent generations out of Pike [Indianapolis] or Knox [Vincennes]
County(s), Indiana in the mid to early 1900s.
I know this is a long shot and if it's not a practical request, that's
ok too. It was worth asking.
Thanks for your offer - very generous of you,
Karen

Subject: [INKNOX] I will do look-ups
Greeting,
So many of you have helped me in my search, I hope to
give something back. I have the Indiana 1860 Census
on CD. I also have the Jackson Co., Indiana 1870
Census book and the Death record Index for Jackson
Co., IN years 1882 - 1920. I am willing to do
look-ups for anyone.
Please email me privately (sanddraw(a)yahoo.com) with as
much info as you have on who your looking for and I
will be happy to help.
Thank you to everyone that has and will help me in
finding my roots.
