Good Morning Sheila:
You have done a tremendous job with the web site. In reviewing those that
I know about at Tea Creek I found just one error.
In Row 8, Henrietta Cahn sh/be Henrietta Gahn. My interest in Tea Creek
is the Mousas, Gahns, and Hargesheimers. I believe there is also a marker at
this point for an Etta Gahn.
On the North side in Row 13, you have Charlotte Hargasheimer, wife of
Philip. This is correct, however I understand from Philip's obituary that he is
also buried at that marker.
One other thing. Next to Charlotte's marker you have a stone that says '
In memory of Etta Gahn Goddard'. This is also correct. However, I have for
some time now tried to learn when and by whom this stone was placed here to no
avail. My interest is this--- Etta Gahn is the sister of Edith Nauert
(Gahn), my Grandmother. Both were daughters of Mary Gahn (Hargesheimer) who
was daughter of Charlotte. Etta Gahn Goddard may be next to her
Grandmother. I have been able to learn nothing about Goddard.
On another matter, the listing of graves for Centerville Cemetery in Lovett
Township shows Adam and Margaret Gahn. The last time I was at Centerville a
third broken marker was there for Phillip Gahn, their son.
Again, you're doing a great job! Thanks.
Carl Nauert
