You can call them. I'm from that county and recently moved away. The ladies there
are fantastic and so helpful. I'd call and explain the situation and see if they can
check it out for you. Let me know how it goes. Nettie is great in that office...well
they all are!

I have a certificate of birth for a chile born 21 June 1882.
Actually when I was there in person they typed it up as Janet Waughtel
- but I have since found information that it should be actually Jarret
V. Waughtel. Is there anyone who, if in that area, could check the
actual record for me? And also, since this is a birth record, and
there has been no mention of this person after this date, could there
possibly be a certificate of death, or a death record of some nature.
The parents would have been John Waughtel and Eliza Ann (Keith)
Waughtel. He was a brother to my grandfather. Any and/or all help
will be gratefully appreciated.
