S.B. Clarkson died in local hospital
Sidney Bryant Clarkson, 90 of 509 S. Blaine, retired Santa Fe
railroad
employe, died at 10:15 p.m. Friday in a local hospital.
He was born Sept. 24, 1868 in Butlerville, Ind., and had been a
resident of Wellington since 1912. He worked for 30 years in the Santa Fe
freight office as a clerk. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Earl Clarkson, sr. (sic), Wellington;
one
daugter, Mrs. Elsie I. Sharits, Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha
Amos and Hallie Collins, both of San Bernardino, Calif.; two grandchildren,
Earl Sharits, Bethasda (sic), Md., and Earl Clarkson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Frank
Funeral
Home with Dr. C. A. Choate, pastor of the First Methodist church,
officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
