George WOODS of the Platter saw mill force was on the sick list last
week.
Messrs. CONNER & Covert, on Monday, purchased the depot restaurant of
T.W. RUSSELL and are now in possession. The new proprietors will make it
the model railroad lunch room.
T.W. RUSSELL of Queensville was in the city Monday. Regarding the
weather of the past week, his feelings and our coincide to a "T". The
fierce winds and intense cold of that period went through us like fog
through a window grating.
San Jacinto: Mrs. B.F. Wildman of Wilmington, Ohio, is visiting her
daughters, Mesdammes W. J. Hare and S.A. CARSON.
Centerville: Demp MEEK was clerk.
Cherry Park: Ed Fields and family visited W. F. CARR and family Sunday.
Hayden: Mr. BROWN and family have moved into the home vacated by Mr.
Harshman.
Vernon: Ed Wilson has moved his family from Paris Crossing into Ed
WAGNER's house here.
Brewersville: Wm. Matthew of North Vernon has purchased the Dave EVANS
property at this place, so our merchant, J. M.Stearns, willnot have to
vacate as he thought he would.
Queensville: Steve MENDENHALL is taking lessons on the violin from Wm.
FREEMAN.
Queensville: Fielding ARBUCKLE and wife of Buzzard Town visied Jacob
Grows Friday.
Big Branch: Miss Hazel EVANS of North Vernon is here visiting her
sister, Mrs. Forrest Lattimore.
Ezra: Mrs. Mollie MILHOUS was called Sunday morning to the bedside of a
sick sister, Mrs. Edna HALL, of Azalia.
