I went to the library today and found very little information on Centerville.
It was southwest of Vernon, IN. It was so small that it wasn't even mentioned
in the history books, so I have no idea about the history of the place. I did
find it on a Jennings county map (1884 I think) and I could scan it in for
you if you like. Or send me your address (privately) and I will snail mail it
to you.

Terry,
I'm doing some research on Centerville, Jennings Co. I have noticed that
there is no longer any mention of Centerville in the NV Plain Dealer's
weekly columns and was wondering if you knew any history of Centerville and
if you might know when the town ceased to be?
If you don't have access to this info, do you know who I could contact?
Thanks!
