Perhaps my original message was not clear. Philip A. Conner was buried in
Jennings County and is listed among those Revolutionary War veterans buried
in Jennings County on the Jennings County GenWeb site. I just don't know
where (which cemetery) within the county. He lived in the vicinity of
Butlerville in NE Jennings Co. and I assume he was buried in 1834 somewhere
near there.
He is not related to the Fayette County Conners. In fact, according to
Conner Prairie Settlement genealogists in the Indianapolis area, there were
about 200 Conner families throughout Indiana within a few years after the
Settlement' Conners were in Marion County, most of whom were unrelated.
Original response:
There is an actual Connersville in Indiana (Fayette County) Try Us
Genweb to
find out who these Conners are.
