This list on the 1920 Jennings County, Indiana, census may have been the
Jennings County Poor Farm in Vernon Township. I have never heard of a home
for girls in Jennings County.

If my memory serves me correctly, in looking at Census Records for
1920 I
found a huge list of women in Jennings Co. in one dwelling. I didn't
pursue
as the person wasn't the one I needed. If you have access to the
Census,
look for Cherry and that should bring up the list. Sorry to be so vague.
