Subject: [INJENNIN] MILLER, Samuel; Zenos; ca. 1860-65
Seeking information from possible descendants of Samuel Miller who
fought
alongside my ggrandfather Richard A. Conner in the 6th IN infantry, and
like
him was captured at Chickamauga. They apparently accompanied each
other
through some or all of the prison system (Belle Isle,
Danville..Andersonville
for sure....Charleston, Florence) and both were paroled into the
Union
lines
at Charleston in Dec. 1864. I am hoping that descendants have family
information about those times in the War and possibly prior or
subsequently
that would bear on my family history.
Thanks much...Dick Conner in Las Vegas (Researching CONNER, FRENCH,
BURDGE,
HUCKLEBERRY in Jennings Co.)
