I was at the library today and did a quick lookup on the info you were
requesting. Unfortunately, it was during this lookup that the baby had
decided that he'd had enough so I didn't get very far. Here's what I
found so far:
Lawson Clarkson, 4-28-1873. There was an abstract in the newsaper
abstracts. It was pretty messed up. It said that George Wagner died at
the home of his son-in-law (Lawson Clarkson) and someone wrote in that
it was actually Lawson Clarkson who died at the home of his son-in-law
George Wagner. He was buried at the Vernon Cemetery. I'll need to pull
the actual obit on this one.
Thomas Pool--The abstract merely states "Died Thomas Pool, age 94 years"
Another abstract in Feb 1912 states Mrs. Sarah Miles died age 76.
BuriedSumerfield cemeter. Someone wrote underneath it "could be wife of
Willima W. Miles who died 12/20/1910" Again, I need to actually look
this one up.
William W. Miles, born 6/3/1836 died 12/20/1910. Sons: Obe, Willis,
James, U.H. Miles all of North Vernon. Buried Vernon cemetery 12/29/1910
paper.
That's all I had time for. I'll keep you posted on what else I find.
