Hi Traci !
Forgive me for jumping into the conversation. I have been checking the
webpage frequently myself, hoping that I could find some new lead (esp since it
was summer, and I had a little more time to do genealogy than I do during the
school year).
I think that it would be nice if some of us could post some transcriptions
of census records, wills, deeds, etc.
For example:
I have partial 1820, 1830 and 1840 censuses (for some reason the person who
copied them for me made sure they got the male entries, but in most cases they
cut off the female side partially or entirely) that I could try to type out if
that would help anyone.
If someone could send me photocopies of an entire census, I would be
willing to do a transcription ---If we all did something like this, then there
would be some new help for researchers.
Thanks,
Sherri
