Marilyn,
Did you not get my response? Hmmm. I haven't heard from Dick either. Wonder
what that means?

Marilyn,
I just got home (Sunday night) from a two week "on the road"
vacation/genealogy trip. I am still unpacking as it were.
I will mail copies of the photograph and post card later this week. <I
promise, he said hopefully> I would send a digital version attached to this
e-mail but all my important files are in the safe and not easily accessed
right now. Anyway, you will really want the hard copy versions and will want
to make your own "scans."
I am also including my 2nd cousin Richard "Dick" Groharing in this mailing.
He is also a grandchild of Agnes Margaret and we are co-conspirators in this
family history stuff. He will be delighted to hear what you have shared with
me already. In fact, he is more knowledgeable about the "Shields" line than
anyone I know. Between the two of us, we will keep you busy for a little
while. In any event, it will be next week (or longer) before I am back to
normal and he can keep you occupied until then. <chuckle>
Dick lives in Morrison, Illinois and I live in Denver, Colorado.
Looking forward to working with you,
Ron

Marilyn,
Would your Sarah Jane Hutton have had the maiden name of "Shields"? If so,
she is the sister of my great grandmother, Agnes Margaret (Shields) Boyd.
That would make us (rather close) cousins of some variety.
I am now looking at a fantastic photograph of my great grandma that was
taken of her as a very young lady (early twenties?). Would you be
interested
in a copy?
I also have a post card from Sarah Jane to Agnes dating from the first
decade of the 20th century.
Ron

There is an Anna H Stewart born 1865 died 1943 monument in the
Butlerville
Cemetery, Jennings Co. She is buried along with my family of
Huttons,
specifically near William H Hutton and Sarah Jane Hutton.
