Yes JoAnn, this hospital is still running and is a hospital for the insane.
My hubby's grandfather d. there in the 1930's, he is buried on the grounds.
Several years ago I stopped in and talked to the supertendant, he showed me
the records I requested and was even nice enough to make copies of them.
However I have heard that the old records have been sent to the Indiana
Archives in Indianapolis.
they don't know who is buried in the cemetery there. The have lost the plat
book, so We were not able to find my husband's grave site. The immates do
the mowing and have knocked over the crosses, runs over them etc.

Can anyone tell me if this was an insane hospital? I have someone who died
