There are no public records of that time. Any records would have to be private.
However, the standard history of cholera in the United States is that the disease made its
first appearance in this country in 1832.

I am trying to find a death record for John Maddock (Maddox) who died in
Madison, Indiana in 1831 from cholera. Are there any records or lists for
those who died during that period? Where should I look to find this
information if it is available?.
