I have a genealogy written before 1926 by Miss Sarah Frances ("Fanny") Hudelson,
who died 24 June 1936 while a patient in Cragmont State Hospital, North Madison, IN. A
letter of 27 Jul 1936 from the Medical Supt, James Milligan, to the Genealogy Section of
the Indiana State Library conveyed there some correspondence by and to Fanny while she was
in the hospital.
Fanny Hudelson is buried with her parents in Bevier, Macon County, MO.
Fanny's manuscript says that she owned certain
relics whose provenance might prove part of her lineage prior to 1736. Since Fanny never
married, and no will for her has ever been found, I have been unable to identify any heirs
who might have possessed these relics.
I wonder if there might be a death certificate that would indicate next of kin for Fanny,
or any hospital records that would show who claimed her body and shipped it to Missouri?
