The marriage records index at
http://myindianahome.net/node/11
had very tidy, clean data that I was able to convert into a GEDCOM file.
The compilation of larger indices is impeded by the many formats in
which vital records are presented on the internet. Witness that even
that index had two distinct formats: Groom, Bride, date and date,
groom, bride.
GEDCOM files, OTOH, can be read by any genealogy software and numerous
utilities.
Now, the data can be absorbed into indices that will allow a
researcher to learn that a great aunt went to Indiana.
The GEDCOM file is at
http://gedcomlibrary.com/gedcoms/v208264.ged
The source credit is in the note for each marriage.
