The John Paul Chapter DAR transcribed the cemeteries of Jefferson Co. in the
1940s. They missed a few, but not many. All (let's be safe and say most) of
the proving ground cemeteries that were in Jefferson Co. were transcribed. I
kinow Baxter and Bayless are there. The book is in the Madison-Jefferson Co.
Public library. It may be in the state library in Indianapolis, but I don't
know for sure what other libraries have it.
There are still burials occuring in Baxter an Bayless so more recent burials
would not have been transcribed. >>
