Hi,
I'm looking for information on the family of my GGG grandfather, Gabriel
Foster, who was an early settler in Jefferson County, IN. According to some
undocumented family history notes I have, Gabriel moved to Jefferson County
from Columbia, Madison County, Ohio, in 1813.
Below is the information that I have so far on this family. I am descended
from Gabriel's daughter, Hannah, and have lots of info on her line. But I
don't have much, other than spouses, for the sons of Gabriel Foster. Also,
Gabriel's brother, Zebulon Foster, is said to have settled in Jefferson
County in 1813, and I know nothing of that line. Might anyone have info on
these Jefferson County Fosters?
I would very much like to find the burial place of Gabriel Foster and
others, as I am planning a vacation to the states this summer (I live
overseas), and would like to visit my family history sites for pictures,
etc. Any suggestions on how to go about finding this?
Here is my Jefferson County FOSTER info:
