Subject: [INJEFFER] Vital Records Search
Hi Everyone,
For those of you searching for vital records in cities in the US,
I thought I'd share this web page:
www.vitalcheck.com
Click on the state you want, and a list of cities with information on how
to
obtain birth, marriage and death records will show up. Click on whatever
city you're looking for. This is not a complete list of cities but there's a
lot of helpful
information here. I've never purchased anything directly from this site,
using a credit card, but the snail mail addresses are there for your use.

That site is best if you need to get a copy of a vital record right
away. But it is definitely more economical to write directly and request the
copies at the state or county level specified at the following site:
http://www.vitalrec.com/
This page contains information about where to obtain vital records (such as
birth, death & marriage certificates and divorce decrees) from each state,
territory and county of the United States. See the guidelines for information
on how to order vital records.
Good Luck! Peggy
